Robin Hood Introduction
Hello everybody, have you ever read a Robin Hood story?
We would like to share several aspects with you about the tale of Robin Hood. This webpage was built within a school project with 20 pupils from the Burggymnasium in Essen. We are currently in the 6th grade and were working on this project with students from the University of Duisburg-Essen. Those Students helped us out creating this blog.
This blog is about the legend of Robin Hood and his Merry Men. The story is famous all around the world and has been told for centuries. Robin Hood was always famous for stealing from the rich people and giving those things to the poor. The many characters that appear in the story will also be presented in our characterizations. We have used a lot of different programs to illustrate the tale of Robin Hood.
The contents of the stories of Robin Hood (we read the book by David Fermer, Klett) will be presented through various programs and tools like:
• Characterizations through Vokis
• Interviews via Podcasts
• Photo stories
• Reviews
• Quizzes
• Mindmaps
We hope that you enjoy reading our blog and maybe learn a few new things about Robin Hood and his Merry Men.

Impressed
My name is David Fermer, I’m the guy who wrote this book, and I found your blog on the web. I’m impressed. You did a good job! Robin Hood is an old story, but you made it look new. No one really knows what the real story was, but there’s something about the idea of a man stealing from the rich to give to the poor that still inspires people today. Having read all your comments, next time I would write the story in a modern-day version – maybe even in the future. That’s the idea you gave me. So thanks for that, and thanks for reading the book because – yes, it IS true – reading makes you smart. So: keep reading! And stay smart!
Good luck,
David Fermer
